Kasur’s cold, dry winter air pulls moisture out of skin fast, so winter care here is simple: cleanse gently with lukewarm water, moisturise twice a day on damp skin, and get a facial every 3–4 weeks. Brides should start 4–6 weeks before the wedding. Our facials run Rs 1,200 to Rs 2,500 — book on WhatsApp at 0321 1232898.
Glow Beauty Salon Kasur · Steel Bagh Chowk · Updated November 2026
Every November, the same conversation starts at our chairs. A woman sits down, touches her cheek and says her skin feels tight, her foundation looks patchy, and her lips will not stop cracking. She changed nothing — same cream, same routine — but Kasur changed around her. The cold, dry air from November to February, the foggy mornings and the hot showers we take to fight the chill quietly strip the moisture out of skin. Winter skin is not a mystery: it needs more moisture, less harshness, and a facial timed right. Here is what we tell our own clients.
Cold air holds less moisture, and everything we do to stay warm — hot showers, heaters, long baths — strips away what little moisture the skin has left. Kasur’s winter is a dry cold: temperatures drop from November, fog sits over the city most mornings, and the air feels sharp on the face. Skin answers by tightening, flaking and itching.
The cold is only half the story — the other half is habit. In summer we wash with cool water and light creams; in winter we switch to long hot showers and keep the same light cream, then wonder why the skin feels worse. Hot water melts away the skin’s own oils, and a light summer moisturiser cannot replace them in dry air.
Cleanse gently, moisturise while your skin is still damp, and protect your lips and hands — that is the whole routine, and it works. You do not need ten products — just the right three steps, done the same way every day.
Start with lukewarm water, never hot, and a gentle cleanser — pat dry, do not rub. Put moisturiser on within two minutes, while skin is still damp, so it locks the water in. Do this twice a day, with a thicker cream at night. Lips need balm through the day, and hands and feet need cream too — cracked heels are the winter complaint we hear most after dry faces.
Two things people forget: sunscreen still matters on sunny winter days — fog softens the sun but does not block it — and water. In winter we feel less thirsty, so most of us drink far less, and the skin shows it first.
| Facial | Best for in winter | Price (Rs) |
|---|---|---|

| Zafrani | Glow for dull, tired winter skin | 1,500 |
| Dr Derma | Sensitive skin that still needs moisture | 1,500 |
| Cristine | Rich moisture for very dry, tight skin | 1,800 |

| Kashees Facial | Full glow before a function or wedding | 2,000 |
| Gold Facial | Deep nourishment for special occasions | 2,500 |
For most winter skin, a hydrating facial every 3–4 weeks is the right rhythm — and the best facial is the one matched to your skin, not the dearest one. The table above is our winter picker: it is the same real price list we charge in the salon, so what you read here is what you pay.
Here is how we choose. We look at your skin first, in daylight, before suggesting anything: very dry, tight skin usually does best with Cristine or Gold; normal winter skin is happy with Derma Cure or Zafrani; sensitive skin gets Dr Derma. For dry arms and legs, our skin polish (Rs 900–1,200) does what a facial cannot. Our Facial Price Guide has every price in detail.
Start 4–6 weeks before the wedding, keep your last facial 7–10 days before your first event, and try nothing new in the final week. Winter brides have one problem summer brides do not: dry skin under heavy bridal makeup. Foundation sits on dry patches instead of blending in, and no extra product fixes it on the day — the fix is the routine in the weeks before.
So the winter bridal plan is simple. Book your dates early — November to February is wedding season and the good dates fill first. Come for a facial every 3–4 weeks in the run-up, do your makeup trial 3–4 weeks before so we can test the look on your real winter skin, and keep your last facial 7–10 days before the first event. Mind your lips and hands too — they show in close-up photos. Our full timing is in the Bridal Makeup Timeline, and a makeup trial is a paid service here, like everywhere serious.
1. We can tell in ten seconds who moisturised and who did not. It is in how the skin takes the first touch of product. The client who used a fairness cream all winter and skipped moisturiser has skin that drinks product unevenly, and her makeup needs twice the work to sit right. The client who moisturised twice a day needs less product and less fixing. Winter makeup is won in the bathroom, not in the chair.
2. Hot water is the quiet culprit, not the cold. Clients blame the cold, but the long hot shower every morning does more damage than any cold day. Lukewarm water and moisturiser straight after is the change we repeat all winter — it costs nothing, and our regulars thank us for it by January.
All of Kasur city is covered — Steel Bagh Chowk, Gulberg, Model City, Peerowala Road, Haji Park and Qadiwind. Our salon sits at Steel Bagh Chowk, near Masjid Zohra, open daily 9am–10pm. If you would rather stay warm at home, our home salon service brings the facial to you — message before noon for a same-day slot in the city.
Coming in from Pattoki, Chunian or Kot Radha Kishan? Book a day or two ahead and take an earlier slot: winter fog on these roads is real, and an early appointment means the road never decides your day. Combine the facial with anything else you need in one trip — threading, waxing or a hair service — and message us first so we can plan around your travel.
Message us on WhatsApp with your skin concern — dry, flaky, dull, or wedding prep — and we will tell you which facial fits and book your slot. See our Facial and Skin Care pages, our Bridal Makeup page, or our Facial Price Guide and Bridal Makeup Timeline — or visit us at Steel Bagh Chowk, Kasur, open daily 9am–10pm.
Every 3–4 weeks is the right rhythm for most skin. A facial once a month keeps the dryness from building up, and lets us change the facial as your skin changes.
It depends on your skin, not on the price. Very dry, tight skin usually does best with Cristine (Rs 1,800) or Gold (Rs 2,500); normal winter skin is happy with Derma Cure (Rs 1,200) or Zafrani (Rs 1,500). We look at your skin first.
Yes, on sunny winter days. Fog softens the sun but does not block it, and Kasur’s midday winter sun is still strong enough to darken and dry skin. A light sunscreen in the morning is enough.
Wash with lukewarm water, never hot, and put moisturiser on while your skin is still damp. Stop harsh scrubs until the flaking settles, and book a hydrating facial — most clients feel the difference within a day or two.
No — keep your last facial 7–10 days before your first event. A facial too close to the wedding can leave redness that makeup cannot fully hide. The glow you want comes from the facial a week before, not the day before.
At our salon, facials run from Rs 1,200 (Derma Cure) to Rs 2,500 (Gold facial). The full list is in our Facial Price Guide — the price never changes with the season.
Yes. Our home salon service covers facials at your home in Kasur city — message before noon for a same-day slot. For Pattoki, Chunian and Kot Radha Kishan, book 1–2 days in advance.
